The Data Controller, within the meaning of the European Data Protection Regulation, is ATLANTIS (SAS), represented by Alain FRANCIOSA, in his capacity as President of the company.

The Data collected by this Site is collected exclusively online.

Personal Data that the User agrees to provide, regardless of the method of collection (online, paper, or orally), is subject to this Policy.

Regarding SMS messages, your data is collected through your registration if you have consented. It may also be collected via one of our partners if you have agreed, or if we have found an item belonging to you that contains your phone number.

Some Data may also be collected when the User interacts with the virtual assistant Vanessa. The Data collected corresponds to information voluntarily entered by the User in the chatbot interface, such as message content, contact details provided, description of a lost or found item, location, date, case number, or any other information necessary to process the request.


6. Why do we collect your Data?

Some of your Data is necessary for the processing and provision of our Services. Failure to provide it prevents proper functioning of the Services offered.

Use of an AI-powered virtual assistant
The Site may offer Users the ability to interact with “Vanessa”, an AI-powered assistant. Vanessa is designed to help Users search for information, prepare reports, or be directed to the appropriate service. The User is informed at the beginning of the interaction that they are engaging with an AI system. Vanessa does not replace a human agent and does not take final decisions regarding item return, identity verification, matching validation, or refusal of requests. All decisions remain subject to human validation.


7. Are you required to provide your personal Data?

When making specific requests such as contact forms, the processing of your Data is mandatory. We cannot proceed without processing your Data (notably email address).

You may withdraw your consent at any time via infos@franceobjetstrouves.fr or directly from your user account.


8. How long do we retain your Data?

We retain your Data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, unless a legal obligation requires otherwise.

A user cannot delete their account if a restitution process is ongoing.

Regarding Vanessa, data processed via Mistral AI is hosted in the EU. No US endpoint is used. Data is not used for model training.

We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your Data, including anonymization, audits, access controls, and AI safeguards for Vanessa.

You have rights of access, rectification, deletion, objection, restriction, portability, and profiling objection. Data breaches are reported to the CNIL within 72 hours when required.
