Found and returned my wallet to the UK from France which was a unexpected pleasant surprise . I received a letter in French 3 months after I had lost my wallet which I had to get translated which notified my wallet had been found and I could collect or have it returned . There is a process to follow which is to create a lost item listing and then my listing was matched to my lost wallet and then the wallet was shipped back at a cost . The only thing that could be improved was the letter sent to the UK and all the emails telling me the process to claim etc were all in French so I had to get them translated to understand so it would have been good if all the communication was in English because they knew I lived in the Uk from the identification in the wallet. I know they do have people that can communicate in English in their office because a lady called Julia was very helpful when I queried that I had not received the wallet when it said it had been shipped so it would have been nice if all the communication was in English but totally understand they are based in France . It would be also good to know what contents had been found in the wallet once your lost item has been matched because you have to decide whether to take insurance out on the item being returned which is a lot if it turns out that the wallet is empty - luckily it wasn't empty and even had some cash inside , Thank you to the honest people who found my wallet and handed in and thanks you for France Objets Trouves for taking the time and effort to return my wallet to its owner .. .
